Hi Future Boyfriend,

I am pretty sure I haven't met you yet but I think about you often. I hope you are doing fine and that you will find your way to me. When you do, I hope you will stay for a while. No, I hope you don't ever leave.

We will have an imperfect relationship. I will not always be at my best and we will probably fight a lot but I will not give up on you easily so I hope you'd be more patient with me, too. Yes, patience. You need a lot of those because I can be stubborn sometimes and I apologize in advance. You can be stubborn, too. I think it's cute.

I don't expect you to be perfect because that's something I will never be either. I just want you to be the man who I can share adventures and stories with. I promise I will be that woman, too.

I can't wait to spend good days with you! One day, we will remember how we met and say that we didn't see this relationship coming but the world has always known we would be together. We will go on road trips. I plan to eat chocolate chip cookies and ice cream while I tell stories about anything I could think of so I hope you're cool with the driving part. We will watch horror movies on Friday night and make midnight snacks for 2. I will tell you about my day and listen to you whine about your stupid boss.

I will hug you every chance I get. You will hold my hand. We will spend time with my friends and they will think you're funny. You will play with my dogs and love them as much as I do. We will watch movies and I will keep the movie tickets because that's what I do.

When I am having one of those days, you will understand. When you are having a bad day, I will sit beside you and we will share comfortable silence until you are ready to talk about it. We will fight and then patch things up because we would realize we can't lose each other.

I hope you're as excited as I am. I hope you're looking for me, too.  Thinking about meeting you makes the future less scary. I will see you soon! For the meantime, take care of yourself while I'm not there yet.
