Leave your ego in Manila

We spent our Sunday in Real Quezon surfing... no. Not all of us since we don't really know shit about surfing. We tried, though... but there are things that just aren't for you.
Nevertheless, it was a fun day with fun people -- Seq, Bianca, Jannine and Cameele. We left Manila at around 3AM and reached our destination at about 6AM. We could have arrived sooner I guess but we had a couple of stopovers because majority of us were girls (4:1) and, not to sound stereotypical, girls need to pee and get coffee (and french fries) regardless of the circumstance
When we reached the place, we wanted to go to the beach right away. The first time we jumped into the water, I lost one of my contact lenses which was a bummer because I am blind as a cat. So yes, I had to survive the day with only one functioning eye. Maybe that's why I didn't learn how to surf! Who can surf with only one eye?! Well that or I'm too weak to do shit that involves water and a board.
Moving forward (to reclaim myself), we went to this waterfall nearby. I climbed with two of my friends, Seq and Cameele. That is such an achievement for me because me and climbing can never have a baby. But I had to do it because #YOLO (this is the first time I've ever used YOLO and I want to stab myself for doing so).
The girls and I gave up on surfing and any other physical activities for that matter around noon. We spent the rest of the day in the hut talking and giggling. It was hours of catching up while the only guy we were with was busy surfing. It's not like we haven't seen each other in a while but we had so much to talk about.
We left the place at around 6 in the evening and had dinner along the way. It was a pretty long drive and my eyes were already giving up on me because I didn't go to sleep the previous night but I had to keep myself awake because the rest of the girls were sleeping in the backseat and if I slept, our guy friend who was driving might also fall asleep and... let's not even talk about what could have happened if he did.
I could say that it was a well-spent Sunday! I would love to have more weekends like that.
Let's end this post with a video I made that looks more like a power point deck:
